it seems things are really starting to kick off [again] on the middle east, so ive made this log to keep a track on significant events in the conflict and hopefully get an insite into what might happen in the future. first a quick background into this specific conflict in the area. on october 7th 2023 hamas militants broke through israeli-gaza border at these locations:
the exact happenings of what followed are foggy but it is known that:
- the israeli defence force responded with ground forces (infantry and arma) and air support (attack helo).
- the casualties of civilians were high, around 1200 dead the bulk of which being civilian.
- israeli losses included a single merkava
- hamas losses inclided
- there was widespread savagery including but not limited to: execution, rape, pilaging and
following the appropriately named "october 7th masacre" israel declared war on hamas and ground sea and air invasion of palestine with the goal of eliminating any remaining traces of the hamas terrorist organisation.
since then its been the usual modern war shitshow with a mix of extremely densely populated areas, maybe the worst possible fighting environments ive personally seen, and an interesting mix of online trends mostly backing palestine (as the country very few of the people in support of palestine bother to learn the history or even the forces within the conflict). as is usually the case with the kinds of people fighting in this war there have been many uneccesary killings of people either not involved in the conflict or people involved in the conflict being killed in an inhumane way. for me war is war, people are going to get hurt, it doesnt make it right but you need to accept that the geneva conventions only play a role in wars once they are over in order to keep the victors values and goals protected. a further important note is the aid being provided to each side in this conflict. i cannot bother to write much about this due to the complexity of it so here are links to wikipedia pages:

the iranian president is dead.
How? - helicopter crash is what we have been told as of the date of this entry.
Who? - onboard the helicopter with the president was the iranian foreign minister and presumably a pilot or two.
why is this significant? well, as you can read in the previous entry, a little over a month ago iran started to escalate already high tensions with its long time enemy israel. is foul play involved? whos to say. helicopters are death traps in not properly maintained however you wouldnt be stupid to assume the helicopter that the fucking president flies around in is kept in pretty tiptop shape, but on the other hand it IS iran we are talking about. kind ofa shitshow on all fronts in that part of the world. it also should be noted who does and doesnt benifit from this situation. XXX XXX was said to be irans next 'supreme leader' so [XXX].

recent events in australia led to this entry, hopefully this is only the result of the austhors paranoia and no further attacks occur.
on the 15th of april 2024 bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel and Father Isaac Royal were stabbed by an attacker during a sermon in at the Christ the Good Shepard Church in western Sydney. the following poster further details and summarises what the general public was told about this attack.
